Ave Grave
Sean Christopher Galloway is a sound artist and film composer based in Berlin by way of Los Angeles, CA. Under his Ave Grave moniker, Galloway creates textural compositions, often using field recording techniques and bits of melodic sound, manipulated on cassette tape loops and digital media. Combining these ambient and electronic textures with soft-spoken pieces of traditional songwriting, Ave Grave's releases create a nuanced, quiet world; a place both wonderful and strange.
