Calgary based jazz guitarist and trumpeter, David Lavoie, has been hot on the local jazz scene playing shows multiple nights a week and honing the sound of his jazz compositions. "If I Were Me" features New Jersey jazz great Pat Van Dyke on the drums and the soaring trumpet melodies from Lavoie. With a degree in jazz composition from North Vancouver University, Lavoie is just stretching his legs and getting started with his jazz tunes.Part of the "Colour Theory" jazz compilation out on Inner Ocean!
