The Japanese Paris-based AHNAMUSICA returns to present his all-fresh LP ‘Breath Mark’. Celebrating pause time as an essential part of life, all too often sidelined in a fast-moving world, ‘Breath Mark’ achieves its objective perfectly, offering a relaxing, timeless musical bubble.

Including five featurings with outstanding artists such as Gas Lab, Midan, Tohaj, DJ MR GOSHI2 and Matatabi, this project explores all Lo-Fi’s colors through several energies and intentions making it a very complete project that can accompany any moment of life.

During the album’s process, AHNAMUSICA is not lacking in his habits, fully produced with the help of his two best friends the Akai MPC live II and the Roland SP-404SX. A technical process cleverly handled to balance gracefully with a modern, up-to-the-minute sound. 

The project reflects the authenticity of the AHNAMUSICA sound universe.

Soft synthesizer strings, often accompanied by panning effects, create a deep, spaced-out mix. Supported by the red thread of boom bap drumkits, we find the flagship instruments of Lo-Fi, with pianos, guitar and saxophone samples interwoven with electronic synthesizer melodies.

The whole is mellow and comforting, a perfect background for catching your breath after an intense week.

Hayashi Taro is a young beatmaker from Kochi, Japan. Passionate about beatmaking from an early age, he decided to make it his life s work, in particular by taking an interest in vintage beatmaking tools, totally at odds with the mainstream industry. After a while, he decided to move to Paris, France, a city where he could continue to develop the authenticity of his art while collaborating with local artists. Being a true vinyl enthusiast, he uses his findings to enrich his art with the raw sound that gives it its identity.
