The verdant green expanse of Vermont is home to serious natural beauty as well as seriously talented lofi and chillhop producers like SoBe. While he may be known for crafting an exquisite, open and airy lofi sound, the guitarist is also comfortable creating much more jazzy, pop-oriented beats, too. Sky Gem is a perfect example of the latter, with swinging drums partly arranged by Dominic Pierce. Hitting in that upbeat territory, with an overall feeling somewhere between chill hop city pop, the single is a delightful way to cap off our year, as well as our first collection of Lofi Snacks.
